About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cancer Care Coordinator to join our team at Dr Perkins Practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the early cancer diagnosis and cancer care quality improvement work within our Primary Care Network.

Key Responsibilities

The Cancer Care Coordinator will be responsible for promoting prevention through education events, sourcing and distributing posters and leaflets, and consulting with Digital Champions to advertise preventive advice. They will also work alongside local community groups to provide patient information, awareness, and support, and identify at-risk populations through the QOF register.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in a patient-facing role, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. They will also have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, and be able to adapt to shifting priorities. A full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are also essential.
