We are seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Practitioner to join our innovative Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist CBT services to promote recovery and valued living for individuals at risk of developing psychosis and their families.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality CBT assessments, formulations, interventions, and consultations to clients with At-Risk Mental State (ARMS) and First Episode Psychosis (FEP).
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team colleagues to provide a biopsychosocial treatment programme for clients with ARMS and FEP.
- Support the delivery of Family Intervention and provide a CBT perspective within the team.
- Assist the lead clinician in coordinating referrals to therapies within EIS and ensuring waiting times are managed effectively within Trust guidelines.
- Provide supervision and guidance to multidisciplinary team colleagues to facilitate psychological thinking and interventions throughout the service.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Experience of working with clients with complex mental health presentations and a range of ages.
- Ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
