A leading Regional Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join them on a permanent basis in Norfolk. The ideal candidate will have extensive practical experience in the Construction industry, possibly having originally trained as a tradesperson familiar with new house building and refurbishment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for advising on regional operational compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices. Additionally, they will ensure that current procedures within the region comply with relevant policy and legislation, assisting with the production and review of project-specific documentation.

Key responsibilities include actively engaging with management at all stages of the construction process, promoting a culture where safety, health, and environmental considerations are integrated into everyday processes, and carrying out inspections and audits at operational sites.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, and an enthusiastic and energetic nature. A valid driving licence is essential, and applicants must be prepared to travel across Norfolk.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance / package.
