Safety and Quality Engineer

As a Utility Engineering Specialist at Opals Group, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects to our clients. With a strong focus on safety and quality, you will work closely with operational teams to implement policies, procedures, and safe working practices on our sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Operational teams to help deliver high-quality projects to our clients
- Implement policies, procedures, and Safe working practices on our site
- Carry out regular Office, Depot and Site Audits and Inspections
- Support the management in Development and distribution of Health Safety plans for standalone and Framework projects
- Undertake Risk assessments and review sub-contractor documentation
- Monitor and review training requirements and allocate personnel for training to be undertaken as required
- Drive the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives of the organization
