Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Perfusionist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have full UK registration with the College of Clinical Perfusion and at least three years of experience post-qualification.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.

Main Job Tasks

  • Directly supervise trainee perfusionists, assisting in the development of the departmental training programmes.
  • Act as a mentor to the trainee perfusionist, ensuring all relevant personal logs and training documentation is completed.
  • Ensure the blood gas analyser is quality controlled and maintained.
