Paediatric Complex Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dedicated, one-on-one care to a child with complex healthcare needs.
Your responsibilities will include managing tracheostomy, monitoring ventilation, and carrying out observations during the night.
You will work closely with our Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery.
As a Complex Care Registered Nurse, you will offer personalized, high-quality care that allows a child with specialized medical needs to live in their own home and reach critical milestones.
Available Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday 20:00-6:00
Our ideal candidate has a passion for delivering life-changing care and expertise in complex medical support.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client.
- Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery
- Provide 1-2-1 support to a child with Complex Care needs
- Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals
- Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Ability to fit seamlessly into the school setting
- Compassion, confidence, and a gentle caring nature
- Commitment to 2 regular shifts per week.
- Clean and valid Registered Nurse pin with at least 1 year post-registration experience
- Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community
