We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Geriatrician to join our Community Frailty Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our service.

Our Community Frailty Service is a dynamic and innovative team that works closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with frailty. We are committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including the design of new care pathways and the implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, hospital doctors, and social care professionals

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Professional qualifications, including MRCP and CCT accreditation in PaediatricsAt least 2 years of higher specialist training in Community Paediatrics or equivalent experienceExcellent clinical skills, including the ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all organisational levelsStrong leadership and co-ordination skills, with the ability to direct and organise teamsAbility to communicate complex, sensitive information to individuals and groups
