Job Title: Cover Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, while contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a variety of subject lessons provided by the school.
  • Monitor and support students through the lesson to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Engage with colleagues to support student success and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience with teaching or tutoring at a secondary level, with a good understanding of the KS3 and 4 curriculum.
  • Training: Completed a Certificate relating to Behaviour Management. Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
