Job Summary
Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Registered Learning Disability Nurse to contribute to its dynamic Learning Disability Service. This role offers the chance to work in a fully integrated health and social care team, focusing on assessment and support planning for individuals with learning disabilities in Salford.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with learning disabilities and their families, with a strong emphasis on developing person-centered care plans. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for individuals and their carers, adapting their approach to meet the diverse needs of the local community.

This role involves completing holistic assessments across various community settings, with the support of senior staff. The successful candidate will prioritize effective communication skills and person-centered practice to ensure the highest quality of care.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
  • Current registration with NMC as RNLD.

Experience:
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and their families.
  • Assessment and support planning.
  • Experience training others, including presentations.

Salary and Benefits
