Interim Demand Planning Manager

Job Summary:

Mackenzie Jones is seeking an experienced Interim Demand Planning Manager to lead and advance demand planning across volume, creation, and value dimensions in the short, medium, and long term. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations, commercial transformation, and finance teams to establish a best-in-class, data-driven forecasting process aimed at achieving 98% accuracy.
  • Work with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, from senior leadership to customer-facing sales and operational staff, to maximize opportunities and drive efficiencies within the demand planning function.
  • Develop and implement demand forecasting systems, incorporating customer feedback and coaching sales and account management teams to drive financial impact.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of experience in a demand planning role within an established S&OP cycle.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems.
  • Successful track record of leading cross-functional teams without direct line management, consistently meeting challenging targets and deadlines.
