Mackenzie Jones is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to spearhead demand planning efforts from a volume, creation, and value perspective across short, medium, and long-term horizons. This role requires close collaboration with operations, commercial transformation, and finance teams to deliver a best-in-class, customer-centric forecasting process.
- Lead and execute short-term, mid-term, and long-term forecasts for: Volume performance, Creation performance & Margin performance.
- Provide commercial leadership in the S&OP process, collaborating with supply and transformation leads.
- Coordinate with the fulfilment performance manager to prioritize delivery based on customer type, profitability, and commercial strategy.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify logistical efficiencies within the short-term order pool.
- Prioritize customers based on profitability (in coordination with the head of commercial).
- Lead initiatives to improve customer master data and prevent supply outages.
- Analyze and incorporate market insights and external factors into demand planning.
- Collaborate with the board on budgeting, planning, and results analysis.
- Provide input on inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Requirements & Experience:
The ideal candidate holds a degree and has over 3 years of experience in a demand planning role within an established S&OP cycle.
They possess strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems.
