Early Careers Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging People team member to lead our Early Careers Strategy. Working collaboratively within the People team and the wider leadership team, you will be responsible for the continuation of our business early careers strategy. This includes our apprenticeship and graduate strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment, coordination, and development of Apprenticeship Programme at all levels within TPE, working in accordance with the Apprenticeship Levy / Ofsted criteria and guidelines.
  • Regular review of existing early careers processes within TPE, growing our early careers portfolio, working alongside external agencies such as Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Network Rail, and other industry partners.
  • Management of our apprentices from recruitment to end point assessment.
  • Identify internal opportunities to utilise apprenticeships to upskill and reskill colleagues.
  • Responsible for the control and management of the Apprenticeship Levy fund and DAS system, ensuring compliance with ESFA regulations and internal financial and audit requirements.
