  • Conduct door-to-door visits to properties where no TV licence is registered, engaging with customers and providing information on licence payment schemes.
  • Listen to customer reasoning for not having a licence and make informed decisions on next steps, ensuring that customers are aware of their obligations and the consequences of not having a licence.
  • Accurately record visit details and complete daily timesheets via a handheld device, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and reported.
  • Explain and sell the benefits of all licence payment schemes, providing customers with clear and concise information on their options.
  • Take and accurately record payment details, ensuring that all transactions are processed securely and efficiently.
  • Attend court when required to give evidence in prosecution cases, providing expert testimony and supporting the prosecution.
  • Carry out work and attend meetings as directed by the Visiting Manager, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
  • Take records of interviews under caution, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and reported.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to visit multiple locations on a daily basis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, with an excellent standard of both verbal and written English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is not essential, but excellent communication skills are a must.

Training and Development:
