Key Responsibilities- Providing expert clinical care to patients with infectious diseases and general internal medicine conditions
- Leading and managing clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures
- Contributing to the development of our infection services, including the design and delivery of clinical programs
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Basic medical degree
- Postgraduate medical diploma (MRCP or equivalent)
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in Infectious Diseases or eligibility for acquiring the same within 6 months of the date of the AAC, or equivalent qualification from outside the EU (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
- CCT in General Internal Medicine or eligibility for acquiring the same within 6 months of the date of the AAC, or equivalent qualification from outside the EU (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
- Higher Degree
- Qualification in Medical Education (Certificate, Diploma, Masters)
- Current ALS certification
- Postgraduate experience of working in Intensive Care or High Dependency Medicine
