Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver content that meets the BBC's editorial guidelines and standards.
  • Lead a team to produce audio and visual recordings, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

  • Manage and motivate a team to achieve creative and editorial goals.
  • Ensure content reflects the BBC's diverse audiences and their needs.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of BBC editorial guidelines and compliance policies.
  • Understanding of the importance of accuracy and impartiality in BBC content.
  • Passion for and expertise in the area of music and audio visual production.
  • Proven experience in production processes and techniques.
  • Excellent editorial judgement and knowledge of target audiences.
  • Experience in influencing, negotiating, and communicating effectively.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills.
  • Sound editorial judgement and knowledge of editorial and legal guidelines.
  • Proven experience in managing financial budgets and production schedules.
