About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team at ExtraCare Charitable Trust. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to secure funding from a variety of sources, including charitable trusts, community groups, corporate supporters, and individual residents.
  • Lead fundraising events and campaigns with creativity and strategic insight, ensuring maximum impact and return on investment.
  • Foster long-term relationships with donors to maximise future funding potential and ensure a sustainable income stream.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to support fundraising efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring that fundraising efforts are aligned with organisational objectives.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing significant funding from a variety of sources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to transparency and accountability.
