Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to meet our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans and strategies to meet fundraising targets.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
  • Diversify Empowr-U's funding streams to include multiple forms.
  • Lead freelance or bid writers, setting clear objectives.
  • Develop in-kind funding streams that complement our work.
  • Write and submit grant proposals and fundraising applications.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Manage donor and sponsor relationships and ensure their ongoing engagement.
  • Work closely with the team to develop engaging content for fundraising campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising regulations and guidelines.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising. You should have a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets and experience in writing and submitting grant proposals and fundraising applications.

You should also have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong networking and interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of fundraising principles and techniques.

A degree or equivalent qualification would be useful, but other ways of demonstrating your ability in written communication could be equally as important.

Salary, Hours and Perks

We offer a competitive salary of £25k-£32,500 pro rata, dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional bonuses are available based on performance, and you will have access to a range of benefits, including discounts on high-street brands, free childcare during school holidays, and access to all of our programs, free of charge.
