Job Title: Fundraising Officer

Empowr-U CIC is a dynamic organization dedicated to empowering young people and their communities. We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Summary:

The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to meet our organizational goals. This includes identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations, and building strong partnerships that align with our values and mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans and strategies to meet fundraising targets.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
  • Diversify Empowr-U's funding streams to include multiple forms.
  • Lead freelance or bid writers, setting clear objectives.
  • Develop in-kind funding streams that complement our work.
  • Write and submit grant proposals and fundraising applications.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Manage donor and sponsor relationships and ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Work closely with the team to develop engaging content for fundraising campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising regulations and guidelines.
Person Specification:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Officer who possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets and experience in writing and submitting grant proposals and fundraising applications.
