Job Purpose: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to assist a young man with partial paralysis in his daily life. The successful candidate will provide support with personal care, hobbies, and social activities, enabling the individual to maintain independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care, including dressing, washing, and using toilet facilities
• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and drinks
• Carry out general housework, including laundry, ironing, and light cleaning duties
• Provide companionship and mental stimulation through activities such as games, hobbies, or outings
• Drive the service user to appointments, day trips, and other errands
• Monitor health-related conditions and administer medication as required

Person Specification:

• Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Respect for individual dignity and privacy
• Personal car with appropriate insurance
• Reliable and regular attendance

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of £13
• 25 hours per week, with exact days and times to be advised
• Annual holiday entitlement equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks
