The successful candidate will provide support with personal care, hobbies, and social activities, enabling the individual to maintain independence and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care, including dressing, washing, and using toilet facilities
• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and drinks
• Carry out general housework, including laundry, ironing, and light cleaning duties
• Provide companionship and mental stimulation through activities such as games, hobbies, or outings
• Drive the service user to appointments, day trips, and other errands
• Monitor health-related conditions and administer medication as required
Person Specification:
• Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Respect for individual dignity and privacy
• Personal car with appropriate insurance
• Reliable and regular attendance
Benefits:
• Competitive hourly rate of £13
• 25 hours per week, with exact days and times to be advised
• Annual holiday entitlement equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks
• Free annual training in GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, and other relevant topics
Requirements:
