Support for Energetic Teenager Needed

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a reliable and caring support worker to assist an energetic 13-year-old with learning disabilities in Old Catton, Norfolk. The successful candidate will work part-time, providing flexible support for the individual on weekends or during school holidays.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people and excellent communication skills. A driving license and own vehicle would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support and companionship to the teenager during activities at home and in the community
* Assist with daily tasks and routines as needed
* Accompany the individual to bowling, crafts, and games sessions

Requirements:

* Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check required
* Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months

Working Arrangements:

* Flexible working hours - approximately 5-6 hours monthly
* Part-time position - ideally suited to those who can commit to regular weekend or school holiday shifts

Additional Benefits:

The hourly rate for this position is £11.68, and additional benefits include free Careskills training and pro-rata paid leave.
