Job Summary

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead to join our multidisciplinary team in Whitby, North Yorkshire. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership to the team, using advanced clinical skills to support and advise on service development and the delivery of evidence-based care.

Main Duties

  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to the team.
  • Use advanced clinical skills to support and advise on service development and the delivery of evidence-based care in partnership with service users, carers, staff, managers, and other agencies.
  • Support development of clinical competencies.
  • Carry out clinical supervision.
  • Carry out clinical audits.
  • Lead on investigation and learning from clinical incidents.

  • Effective inter-personal skills and experience in supervising and mentoring and teaching.
  • Able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Ability to lead/motivate staff to embrace change.

  • Non-medical prescribing - V300.
