Parts Advisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Scania GB team as a Parts Advisor. As a key member of our Aftersales operation, you will play a vital role in providing timely and efficient support to our customers, while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order parts in line with operational needs and chase suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with the delivery and collection of parts, ensuring they are packaged and documented correctly.
- Support increased part sales and fixed price repairs through proactive selling and utilization of primary national part sales programs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls in a friendly and open manner, using the company standard greeting.
- Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of sound parts knowledge and excellent customer service, ensuring customer requirements are met or exceeded.
- Assist in controlling optimum stock profile for the branch, minimizing levels of obsolescence.
- Proactively embark on perpetual stock checks to reduce stock check line discrepancy rates.
Character Requirements:
- Ability to build rapport and positive relationships with customers to maximize sales opportunities and meet customer needs.
- Trustworthiness in managing own workload and ensuring customers are kept up to date.
- Forward thinking and ability to use own initiative under pressure, overcoming obstacles while ensuring customer needs are met.
