Account Development Manager

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers within a defined territory. Your primary objective will be to drive retention and organic growth through the development of joint business plans with outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key customer accounts to ensure retention and organic growth is delivered to meet KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the National Account team to develop customer activity plans in line with channel requirements.
  • Work closely with the CDE sales team to ensure appropriate activations are delivered in line with agreed joint business plans.
  • Assist with the training and development of the CDE sales team to ensure brands are developed in line with our brand policy.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales record within major FMCG or drinks company.
  • Demonstrates strong account management experience.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering and managing multiple key projects simultaneously.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of brand plans at Point of Purchase.
  • Having worked with Premium brands can articulate the benefits of the "Premium" sector.
  • Understands the value of building a portfolio.
  • Understands the whole concept of the right product for the right outlet/consumer.
