Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Support Worker to join our Adult Locality Mental Health Team based in Peterborough.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to deliver a Mental Health Reablement Service, adopting an enabling approach to help individuals achieve their recovery goals, promote independence, and develop or maintain skills in daily living.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality evidence-based support and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Support patients in being recovery-focused and ready to manage themselves along their care pathway.
- Have a working knowledge of local, national policies, and legislation governing current service provision.
- Identify and contribute to the training needs of staff and ensure issues of equality, diversity, and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation.
- Travel independently around the county, meeting strict time deadlines, and hold a full UK driving licence with use of a vehicle.
