About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Community Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. As a Senior Community Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team in providing excellent psychiatric care to older adults in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead the multidisciplinary team in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for older adults with mental health needs.
- To work closely with community teams, liaison services, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- To lead weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure prompt reviews of acutely unwell patients.
- To participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of new treatments and services.
