Consultant in Hospital Medicine

We are currently seeking a Consultant in Hospital Medicine to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our hospital services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to excellence and patient-centred care. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff and other healthcare professionals
- Developing and implementing evidence-based clinical guidelines and policies
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and audits
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent experience
- Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council
- Evidence of specific and broad training in Acute medicine and/or General medicine
We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 per annum, which is estimated based on national averages for consultants with similar experience and qualifications. Our hospital provides specialist, acute, obstetrics, and community-based services to 331,000 people across West and North Norfolk, North Cambs, and South Lincs.
