Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent role working as part of a busy payroll team. The post holder will manage their own portfolio of clients, processing payrolls from start to finish using the Sage payroll system.

About Us

Hays Accounts and Finance is a well-established public sector organization providing a payroll and pension service to public sector organizations nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Payroller to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client portfolios and process payrolls from start to finish using the Sage payroll system
  • Ensure accurate calculations of National Insurance contributions, PAYE tax, and pensions in relation to payroll queries
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality payroll services
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and Excel skills
  • Able to work on your own initiative, accurately, flexibly, and under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths
  • Experience in the use of payroll systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
