Office Payroll Coordinator

**Job Description:** Bureau payroll officer required for part-time position in local office. Salary £16,800 for 3 days per week, plus benefits (equating to £28,000 full time).
As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing payroll using Sage. Your duties will include:
- Processing timesheets and overtime, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Recording absences and bonuses, maintaining up-to-date HR records.
- Calculating SMP, SPP, and SSP, adhering to relevant regulations.
- Managing starters and leavers, updating payroll systems accordingly.
- Liaising with HMRC, addressing queries and submitting monthly payroll for Director approval.
- Preparing P60s and handling tax code changes, payroll journals, and other related tasks.
**Requirements:**
- Strong background in payroll administration, preferably with experience using Sage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with HMRC regulations and procedures.
