Education Payroll Coordinator

Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Payroller to join our team working as part of a Payroll Bureau. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The post holder will manage their own portfolio of clients, processing their payrolls from start to finish using the Sage payroll system. Experience with the Sage payroll system would be beneficial for this role.
The Payroll Bureau offers a payroll and pension service to public sector organizations nationwide. Knowledge of education payrolls, Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), and Teacher Pension Scheme (TPS) would be advantageous but not essential.
All candidates are expected to have a good understanding of UK payroll legislation and calculations, including National Insurance contributions, PAYE tax, and pensions in relation to payroll queries.
You will have excellent communication and Excel skills, with the ability to work accurately, flexibly, and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
