About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Healthcare Administrative Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to a consultant and ensure that all appointments are prepared for and electronically captured.

About the Job:

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Healthcare Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to a consultant and ensuring that all appointments are prepared for and electronically captured.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical support in the compilation and sending of medical reports, clinical letters and correspondence using system set pro-formas and from digital dictation.
  • Audio typing duties
  • Answer the AMHT's main telephone line as required; processing enquiries if able, signposting where appropriate, and taking messages when indicated in a professionally manner.
  • Maintain rotas and lists for required Mental Health Act actions for the AMHT as required

Requirements:

  • NHS experience (highly desirable)
  • Audio typing experience (essential)
  • Proven track record within administrative roles
  • Polite and friendly telephone manner
  • Enthusiastic, confident approach to change, calm and reliable under pressure
