Senior Product Marketing Strategist Role

As a Senior Product Marketing Strategist at Basware Corporation, you will be responsible for supporting assigned product areas across our portfolio of solutions. This involves developing a deep understanding of the assigned products, buying audiences, and competitive and market landscape. Your goal will be to create global messaging and positioning for our services portfolio to address your audience's challenges.

You will manage buyer and market insights, value proposition and messaging, as well as sales and marketing plans for your services portfolios. Your expertise in audience-centric marketing will be essential in ensuring that messaging, content, and campaign strategies are centered around customers' buying needs.

Additionally, you will communicate latest product innovations and service capabilities to the customer base, and lead the marketing launch of new services. Your role will also involve becoming a subject-matter expert of your solution areas for the rest of the marketing teams. As part of the role, you will evangelize solutions in your portfolio and their key differentiators to prospects, customers, partners and Basware employees.

Critical skills and qualifications for this role include the ability to work with limited guidance, executive presence and comfort presenting to C-level executives and customers, motivated to drive change, and collaborative leadership skills to influence and motivate marketing peers. Excellent communication and writing skills to native English standard are also essential.

  • Demonstrable skills in developing customer-driven buyer journeys using information gathered from buying audiences and industry reports
  • Financial services industry experience is a major advantage, including marketing to the office of the CFO
  • Ability to understand the nuances of a global organization and product portfolio and customize the message for various geographies as appropriate
