About the Role

The Estates, Projects and Masterplanning department is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the Museum's buildings and provides project and programme management oversight, delivery and assurance expertise to the vast range of projects we deliver across the Museum.

The Information and Records Manager manages all information held and produced by the department, as well as supporting requests for information from across the Museum. You will promote, provide, and maintain corporate advice and guidance regarding Records and Asset Management to the department, wider internal and external stakeholders, and service partners.

The postholder will develop and maintain appropriate policies, procedures and protocols to support effective and efficient information management and lead in the effective recording and communication of Estates issues internally and externally.

The Museum is working towards the adoption of a common data environment and the broader application of Building Information Modelling (BIM) within projects and facilities management will be a key part of this role.

About You

You will also have knowledge of principles and practices to assess, communicate and improve the quality of data within an organisation, and a practical knowledge of Quality Assurance in records management.
