Job Overview

The Rough Sleeping support services provide vital assistance to individuals at risk of homelessness, focusing on securing and maintaining accommodation. This role will provide intensive support to clients, helping them to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to establish positive working relationships and provide tailored support to sustain their tenancies.
  • Assist clients with housing-related issues, including budgeting, debt management, education, employment, and accessing welfare and housing benefits.
  • Work closely with other teams and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive support network for clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and regularly report on progress to the Service Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the compilation of monthly performance reports.
Essential Requirements
  • DBS clearance within the last 12 months.
  • Experience working with homeless individuals.
  • Knowledge of tenancy sustainment strategies.
