Trainee SEN Teacher Learning Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Trainee SEN Teacher Learning Support.
This role involves providing teaching and support to our pupils, following individualised curriculums. You will also support the delivery of lessons and activities, focusing on life skills.
As a Trainee SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience working with children of varying ages and abilities. You will be supported by experienced staff who use a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to promote positive outcomes and student development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide teaching and support to pupils following individualised curriculums
- Support the delivery of lessons and activities, focusing on life skills
- Support pupils' participation in trips, applying theory-based learning to practice
- Provide behaviourally based support to reduce behaviours impacting quality of life
- Provide personal care, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene
- Monitor pupil progress, ensuring teaching is appropriate and effective for each child's needs
- Assist with break time duties, including playground support and snack time
Location: Tonbridge, Kent.
Contract: Day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles available.
Estimated salary: £26,000 per annum (FTE).
