About the Role

BRUIN Financial seeks a Corporate Governance Senior Associate to join its legal function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on corporate governance, legal and compliance-related matters on behalf of the Group and its EMEA subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Board Meeting Support: Plan, hold and record board and committee meetings, ensuring supporting business units provide papers on time in the required format.
  2. Circular Resolutions and Annual General Meetings: Prepare and coordinate annual general meetings, either in-person or by written consent as needed, across various jurisdictions.
  3. Record Keeping: Serve as the official record keeper of corporate records, including board minutes, circular resolutions, bylaws, charters, and ensure they are properly secured and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  4. Compliance Filings: Coordinate the production of corporate records that may be requested in connection with litigation, regulatory inquiries, or financial audits, and prepare applications and other required filings.
Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 5+ years of work experience in a similar role within Financial Services.
  2. Organizational Skills: Highly organized and process-driven, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  3. Corporate Governance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations, as well as corporate governance practices.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear reports, board minutes, and resolutions.
  5. Collaboration: A highly collaborative partner with strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with team members and all levels across the organization.

The estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and London location.
