About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Asda. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a pharmacy team, achieving exceptional levels of patient safety and delivering excellent patient experience.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), with accreditation to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Practice Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve business objectives.
  • Managing the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, supporting the drive to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.
  • Ensuring compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
  • Collaborating with in-store, regional, and home office teams to deliver excellent patient experience and achieve business success.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a pharmacy team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
  • Ability to balance the role of line manager and pharmacist to deliver a safe working environment.
