About the Role

As a Mechanical Site Manager at Wates, you will play a vital part in the success of our construction projects. Your primary focus will be to support the Project Manager in developing the construction program, short-term look-ahead planning reports, and equipment and materials schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a daily key action plan that includes productivity and people management.
  • Attend and chair internal meetings with subcontractors to discuss site progress.
  • Review design drawings for buildability and coordination, raising RFIs as necessary.
  • Manage the flow of subcontractor design information as delegated by the Project Manager to suit the program of works on site.
  • Assist the Project Manager and Technical Manager in producing and monitoring the MIRS.
