Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Enablement Support Worker to join our team at Kent County Council. As a key member of our Enablement Team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve their goals and maximize their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the Enablement Locality Organiser, Enablement Supervisors, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and other multi-agency partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Empower individuals to reach their personal goals, using your skills and experience to support them in achieving their aspirations.
  • Travel across the required geographical area, using your own transport or public transport where possible.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, responding to the fast-changing needs of the service.

Requirements

  • An empathetic and caring approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with diverse individuals and challenging situations.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to your own development.
