Role Responsibility

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our West Kent South Enablement Team as an Enablement Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and reduce their long-term care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of individuals using the Enablement at Home service, providing support with daily living tasks and helping them establish SMART Enablement goals.
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapy and Case Management colleagues to ensure holistic assessments and maximize opportunities for individuals.
  • Provide practice monitoring, supervision, and training to a team of Enablement Support Workers, ensuring they work in a healthy and safe environment.
  • Monitor the quality of service provided and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • An empathetic and caring approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with diverse individuals and challenging situations.
  • Ability to empower individuals to reach their personal goals and maximize their independence.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to personal development.
