The post holder will provide leadership for the 24 hour Trust-wide Mental Health Helpline Managers and Practitioners in maintaining clinical and non-clinical standards of care and in implementing quality service improvements, including ensuring that Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards are met.
The post holder will provide the leadership, operational co-ordination and management across the 24 hour Trust-wide Mental Health Helpline. The helpline was established in response to the pandemic as part of the Long Term Plan for mental health.

- Post graduate training relevant to mental health/leadership/management
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Demonstrable significant experience as a senior clinical practitioner in mental health
- Management and/or leadership of mental health services
- Clinical experience in a range of mental health settings
- Delivering service/practice innovation, development and change
- Budgetary management
- Ability to establish professional boundaries and resolve operational issues
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning
- Proven effective leadership skills
- Ability to motivate staff and achieve goals through the actions of others
