Acute Assessment Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Acute Assessment Unit team at The Wellington Hospital, London. As a Staff Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high standards of nursing care for patients requiring urgent medical or surgical consultant review.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the referral service, ensuring patients are assessed, treated, referred, and discharged according to the case.
- Work well within a team, deputising for Senior Staff Nurses in their absence, and ensuring patient care is at a consistently high level.
- Initiate improvements and developments in clinical issues and delivery of care.
As a Staff Nurse in our Acute Assessment Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. You will be responsible for managing the referral service, ensuring patients are assessed, treated, referred, and discharged according to the case. You will also work well within a team, deputising for Senior Staff Nurses in their absence, and ensuring patient care is at a consistently high level.
Requirements:- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
- Experience within a similar unit or accident and emergency is essential.
- Previous experience within Critical Care is also desirable.
