About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 250 professionals, driving market growth, and expanding our business presence in the region. This requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the local market, the ability to foster strong relationships with customers, and a proven track record in sales management as well as a thorough understanding of other business areas, including manufacturing operations.

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team, ensuring high levels of motivation, performance, and alignment with company goals as well as encouraging professional development.
    • Set clear performance targets and regularly evaluate team performance against these metrics.
  • Market Understanding and Business Development:
    • Analyze the local market landscape, identifying trends and opportunities, monitor competitive activity and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including production, supply chain, quality control, and customer service, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
    • Ensure KPIs, quality, and health and safety standards in production are met.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies within the country.
