Head of UK Operations

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead our UK operations. As the head of our UK organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our market presence, and leading a dynamic team of professionals. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention, you will build and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met. Additionally, you will oversee all operational aspects of the business, including production, supply chain, quality control, and customer service, to ensure efficiency and profitability. Your expertise in sales management and manufacturing operations will be invaluable in driving our business forward.
Responsibilities:
• Drive market growth and expand our business presence in the region.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including production, supply chain, quality control, and customer service, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Manage the country's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum return on investment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent would be a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in sales management and preferably manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong business acumen, broad understanding of all areas of management (Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.).
• Related industry experience would be a preference. Strong understanding of the local market and experience in business development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large team across a diverse geography. Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Fluency in English
The estimated salary for this position is £120,000-£180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
