Salary and Benefits

The remuneration includes a competitive basic salary between £80,000-£85,000 depending on experience, with a genuinely achievable bonus structure plus car and all the benefits you would associate with a senior role.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Sales Strategist to drive sales, footfall and revenue across our existing and new venues. The ideal candidate will have high level strategic sales and business development experience within a large multi-site leisure, recreation, fitness or hospitality business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing the sales and business development strategy, as well as leading a team of high performing sales and commercial managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing and developing the sales and business development strategy to drive sales, footfall and revenue.
  2. Leading a team of high performing sales and commercial managers to achieve sales targets.
  3. Working with the group and regional marketing teams to deliver a cohesive approach to national and local sales and marketing initiatives.
  4. Implementing and managing all sales processes, KPI measures and performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and hands-on approach to leadership, with experience in leading high performing sales/commercial teams that involves lead generation, sales process and managing the sales funnel to attract and retain customers.

A valid UK driving licence is required, and the ability to travel two to three times a week is essential.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  1. Inspiring character and driven personality.
  2. High level strategic sales and business development experience within a large multi-site leisure, recreation, fitness or hospitality business.
  3. Experience in leading high performing sales/commercial teams that involves lead generation, sales process and managing the sales funnel to attract and retain customers.
  4. Ideally experience in supporting with project managing new openings and sales launches.
  5. Experience in data driven decision making.
  6. Living or willing to relocate to the Southwest, West Midlands or Northwest England for easy travelling between venues.
