Our Knowsley Supported Living Service, located in Huyton, Liverpool, offers a 24-hour support service for people with mental health diagnoses and other complex needs.

We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team, who will be responsible for supervising and delegating tasks to a dedicated team of support workers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, supporting adults with various conditions including LD, dementia, mental health, and other physical conditions on a person-centered basis.

The role involves following care plans, administering medication, and assisting with daily living tasks, as well as accessing the community and domestic tasks such as support with shopping and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers
  • Support adults with various conditions including LD, dementia, mental health, and other physical conditions on a person-centered basis
  • Follow care plans, administer medication, and assist with daily living tasks
  • Access the community and domestic tasks such as support with shopping and daily living tasks

Requirements

  • Previous Support Worker experience
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions and their impact on daily life
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
