**Job Title: Special Education Teaching Assistant - SEND and Complex Needs**
**Location: Knowsley, Merseyside**

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD, ADHD, SLD, complex needs, and physical disabilities.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting independence, confidence, and social skills development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required.
- Monitor and report on students' progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Previous experience working with students with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SLD, and complex physical needs.
- Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting the diverse needs of students.
- Knowledge of strategies to promote independence and social development.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education are desirable but not essential.

**Salary**: £76.00-£85.82 per day
