SEN Teaching Assistant Specialist

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school near Prescot, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role is ideal for those who have experience working with students who display challenging behaviour, requiring a calm and resilient approach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to students with SEN, particularly those with Autism
- Building strong relationships with the children and acting as a positive role model
- Creating inclusive environments that enable students to reach their full potential
Requirements:
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Safeguarding Certificate
- Prevent Awareness Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
