Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Administrative Coordinator to join our dynamic administration and reception team at York Hospital. As the first point of contact for our service users, you will require excellent communication skills and empathy to provide a warm welcome to our patients and visitors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting with patients on reception, assisting with appointments and queries
  • Processing new patient referrals using e-referral software
  • Monitoring the joint email inbox and responding to general enquiries
  • Liaising with clinicians to book follow-up appointments for patients
