Job Summary

The Security Consultant role at InfoSec People Ltd involves managing a portfolio of change activities to ensure Secure-by-Design thinking is embedded into everything we do and the risks are understood and managed.

You will be responsible for maintaining the relationship with your own portfolio of change, working closely with cross-functional teams to support our mission in the management and reduction of Cyber Risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the InfoSec relationship with identified portfolio of change
  • Identify when your portfolio requires additional InfoSec support from areas such as Security Architecture, Security Design or Security Engineering and broker the engagement
  • Provide security requirements and guidance into the change activities
  • Responsible for ensuring Threat Modelling is in place for the identified programs, projects, engineering
  • Work with GRC to inform on risk, compliance and assurance with regard to your portfolio of change
  • Work with Security Culture to ensure alignment on culture topics and messaging to identified recipients
  • Active contributor to team objectives and challenges

Requirements

  • Must be knowledgeable in 2 or more security domains
  1. Application Security
  2. Network Security
  3. Infrastructure Security
  4. Cloud Security
  5. End-User Compute Security
  6. IoT and ICU Security
  • Clear understanding and experience of risk assessment and compliance frameworks
  • 5 years in technology with at least 2 years' experience of security engineering or similar role

Desirable Qualifications

  • Supporting qualifications in technology or security such as the following:
  1. Microsoft/Azure Architecture
  2. British Computer Society Diploma
  3. CISSP, CISM, CRISK, CGEIT. CCAK, CCSK, CCSP
  4. Computer Science or Cyber Security Degree
