About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a young adult who communicates using a mix of speech and Makaton. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care and support, assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and providing emotional support and companionship.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver 24-hour shifts with waking days and sleeping nights
- Support with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
**Our Commitment to You:**
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
